Featured Project

The National Corporation of Antiquities and Museums (NCAM), the Archaeology Office of the Northern State – Jebel Barkal, and the University of Michigan in cooperation with the Sudanese Red Crescent Society hosted a community event for families in the region to highlight cultural heritage awareness and Sudanese history.  The events were organized by AmSARC Officer, Geoff Emberling, Director of the Northern State, Sami Elamin, and archaeological inspector, Ahmed Sohkari, and was supported by the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation from the United States State Department.
